Police in South B area are investigating the death of a middle aged man who was found lying lifeless on the side of the road on Monday.

Witnesses say they found the middle-aged man’s body in a thicket with blood oozing from his mouth and nose.

Police investigating the incident say they are treating it as a murder revealing that they suspect the victim was murdered elsewhere and later dumped at the scene.

The continued to reveal that the place where the body was found does not match the crime as the surrounding has no signs of struggle. It is with this discovery that they concluded that he was murdered elsewhere and his body dumped there.

The probe into the matter has been launched and the motive is yet to be established.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending identification and autopsy.

Similarly, another body has been discovered in Embakasi on a bench with a stab wound to his back, which went through the chest.

According to police who visited the scene, the man was found in half sitting position on a bench inside the veranda of a wines and spirits shop with blood oozing from the nose and mouth.

It was later established from the joint waiter the deceased was in the company of his friends when they disagreed over some money.

One of the friends hit the deceased on the back using a sharp object as they escaped the scene.

The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and identification.

No arrest has been made over the Monday night incident and efforts to get the assailant is ongoing, police said.
