Renown CNN Journalist Larry Madowo has been on the forefront advocating for better conditions in terms of of infrastructure and the handling of visitors at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The former NTV journalist has never missed an opportunity of bringing to the light any wrong going on at the airport, from the leaking roofs, to flooding and even travellers being rained on as they traversed the international airport.

There are however renovations going on to ensure that the airport meets international standards and Larry did not miss the opportunity to share his thoughts about that.

“The new roof is coming along. I hope it doesn’t leak when it’s done” said Larry Madowo.

“I wish this was a joke but it isn’t. A “newly renovated” terminal had a leaking roof AFTER renovation. You can’t make this stuff up,” he added.

Reacting to his post,  a section of netizens were positive that things will be better at the airport with the current development while others were of the contrary opinion.

“It will work this time,” one said.

‘”This airport is just mediocre to say the truth. The reason why its trash  is because greed out ways honesty in kenya  across the board, in the ratio of 10:1 respectively,” another argued.

This however comes just weeks after Larry defended JKIA after a British Journalist labelled  it the stupidest airport in Africa.

“I’ve been complaining about how bad JKIA is for 10+ years. But I don’t agree that it’s the “stupidest” airport in Africa. Not even close. To Jeremy’s credit, he first complained about JKIA in 2017,” Larry said.
