Vera Sidika has once again addressed concerns from fans about her frequent and long travels especially outside the country, a move that many deem is a neglect to her young children.
In an interview with a local media outlet, the socialite noted that she is a full time mother, adding that their bond is so strong.
“I love them more. My bond with the kids is so strong and I feel like that’s one thing people don’t know or see because I don’t post so much on social media but trust trust me we are the best of friends. I spend 24 hours of my time with them. If am travelling that’s the only time I am away from them but when am around am with them. I am like a full time mum,” Sidika said.
She insisted that she spends more time with her children compared to a person who has a 9am-5pm job.
“If you see the time that I am out of the country, compared to the time that I am in the country and I am always with them it’s a lot more. Like I travel like one month, I skip two months, so I spend time with them,” she said.
She also noted that she has taken measures to ensure that her children are well taken care of when she is aways, including hiring four nannies.
“Of course when I travel, they are safe my nannies are well trained, I trust them. My mom also stays with my nannies together with the kids, my brother is also around and I have CCTV cameras everywhere and I’m always calling on videos so I’m safe, I know when the kids are with my mom, they are fine,” the reality star said.
Why Four nannies?
Sidika said that she opted to have all those nannies so that her children can be watched full time so that they don’t even trip and fall.
“I wanted my kids to have 24 hours watch. I don’t want anything to go wrong, I don’t want even my kid to fall. I want my kids to just be full time on the watch. I have always wanted my kids to have the best so why not?” she said.
At the same time, she maintained that she has no plans of adding more children until after 7 years.
