Kelvin Muasya the son of Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka exchanged vows with Sharon Nthoki in Maanzoni, Machakos County on Saturday, 11th of May .
The lovebirds tied the knot in a colourful tradition ceremony.
Muasya is the second born of Musyoka’s three children. His partner Sharon is a county official, serving as a Machakos County Executive Committee member for Trade, Tourism,Industry and Innovations.
The wedding brought together family and friends from different places.
The groomsmen looked dashing in classic brown suits paired with white sneaker, a modern twist that added flair to the ensemble. The look was complemented by stylish sunglasses that made them leave the crowd amazed by their outfit.
On the other hand, Sharon’s attire was a testament to timeless elegance that enhanced her natural beauty making her the epitome of a radiant bride. The bridesmaids were adorned in elegant brown sequin dresses topped with various accessories that leaving the people with awe.
The ceremony was a blend of tradition and modernity, reflecting the couple’s unique personalities and values. From a heartfelt vows exchanged to the joyous celebrations that followed, where every moment was filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.
The occasion was graced by political figures and dignitaries from all parts of the country. The politicians in attendance were the Orange Democratic Movement party leader honorable. Raila Odinga, Former Kakamega Governor honorable Wycliffee Oparanya, DAP Party leader Eugene Wamalwa, Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti, Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior and Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi.
Also, Kennedy Musyoka, Muasya’s elder brother was present at the event. Kennedy is a member of the East Africa Legislative Assembly ( EALA) and Kalonzo’s first born child.
”A happy afternoon in Machakos County at the traditional wedding of Sharon Nthoki and Kelvin Muasya, son of my brother Kalonzo Musyoka in Maanzoni. Congrats to the couple; may bliss accompany them in this journey together.” Raila Odinga shared.
Kalonzo remarked that his son had married ”his rib and God’s appointed helper is Nthoki.” This was while announcing the traditional wedding.
“Genesis 2:18 reads, “Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Today, my son Muasya married his ‘rib’ and God’s appointed helper, Nthoki,”
He thanked the couple for allowing him to be part of the wonderful day and witnessed them start a new chapter of their lives, wished them happiness and wanted their love love to grow stronger with each passing year.
