Kenyan award-winning actress, popularly known as “Celina” and “Kate Actress” is among the distinguished guests in President Ruto’s State visit to the US.
Kate Actress whose real name is Catherine Kamau received an invitation US Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman.
She will be attending a state dinner at the White house and a luncheon at the Tyler Perry studios in Atlanta., where President Ruto is also expected to visit while in the US.
The actress has also shared the post on her Instagram page as she feels honored being among the chosen few to accompany the President to the US.
Her invitation has received a lot of appreciations from her followers some saying she deserves it and wishing her well while on the trip.

Kate has been a top tier in the entertainment industry in Kenya and this might have contributed to her being chosen for the historic trip.
However, Actress has received some criticism and negative online reaction. Some people think that she did not actually disserve that chance and that someone else could be chosen.
Among the people who have gone with the president for a three-day state visit to the US is Eddie Butita, comedian and scriptwriter.
Expressing his excitement at being part of the men and women selected, Butita thanked the President for that chance. He said he’s happy for being part of the “conversation” they will have during the tour.
“The fact that I’m part of the head of the state delegation is a clear sign, and we are happy that the creative industry is part of the conversations we are going to have during this trip.”
