Susan Nekesa a Kenyan lady, has come out to expose the former chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Wafula Chebukati of infecting her with HIV.
In an expose, she revealed that she got together with the lawyer after meeting him in 2020 and together have been blessed with a son.
“Let’s talk about Wafula Chebukati, the man I once loved with all my heart. We met back in 2020 and everything seemed like a fairytale. We fell in love and from that love came our beautiful son Eugene Wanyonyi.” Nekesa said.
Nekesa went on to add that though their love story started out well, a dark secret lay between them. She claimed that the lawyer infected her with HIV.
“Little did I know behind the charming smile and loving gestures, lay a dark secret. Wafula Chebukati the man who was supposed to be my partner for life gave me HIV.” Nekesa added.
Though Chebukati was taking care of her medical expenses, Nekesa says she will not agree to being shut out of his life and estate especially if anything was to happen to him.
“For the past month, I’ve been trying to reach him to no avail. He’s been holed up in some undisclosed hospital, leaving me in the dark about his condition. And why is this important? Because I refuse to be shut out of his life and estate, especially if the worst were to happen.” Nekesa added.
Susan in her expose expressed her disbelief for having to get to the point she aired her dirty laundry for the public to see, said she was not doing it for the sympathy but to unveil to people who Wafula Chebukati really is.
” So to anyone who thinks Wafula Chebukati is some kind of hero, think again. Behind closed doors, he’s nothing but a deceitful, selfish man. And mark my words, I won’t rest until I get the closure that I deserve.” Nekesa said.
The former IEBC chairman has been reported unwell for sometime now. According to closes sources, without disclosing his condition say he has been hospitalized in Aga Khan for weeks now.
