Renown singer, businesswoman and Philanthropist Esther Akoth Kokeyo aka Akothee left the country for Switzerland a day ago.

While she didn’t mention the main aim for the trip in her initial posts, she just recounted her early flights and compared them with the current ones.

“When I remember my first days, months of travelling, what the hell was I doing on high heels, winter boots, trousers  etc,” she laughed at herself in one post. “Saa hii ni slippers na niko sawa hapa business class minding my own  business about to change into my pajamas.”

In a separate post, she revealed that she started flying business class in 2013, recalling that she never used to sleep because of the excitement..

“When I started flying business class back in 2013 I wouldn’t even sleep, I would be all over the cabin taking photos drinking everything that was liquid,😂😂😂. Maybe because someone was paying, And I dint know when they would stop paying 😂😂😂,I Never wanted to miss a moment. Now since 2017 I walk into the plane , change into my pyjamas

Commenting on this post, one of her top fans suggested that she really loved Denis Omosh Schweizer, the Swiss man she married in April 2023 in a lavish wedding, and that is why she was heading to Switzerland. Akothee ditched the marriage after discovering some things about Omosh just two months later.

“Kwani umefuata Omosh Tena?Ulimpenda kweli,” the netizen said.

Responding to the comment, Akothee however made it clear that she was headed to Switzerland, not because of Omosh, but because of her son.

“My son is swiss and he is 14 years old . I started going to Switzerland 15 years ago before you knew what internet is calm down,” she said.
