Citizen TV’s Political reporter Stephen Letoo married his long term fiancée Irene Renoi on Saturday April 20, 2024.
The couple exchanged their vows at the Methodist Church in Narok county, before proceeding to the Ole Ntimama stadium where thousands had gathered for the occasion.
For the occasion, Letoo donned a stylish Nigerian outfit while his bride settled for a white gown. The bridal team on the hand dazzled in maroon outfits.
Aside from the stylish outfits, the couple also opted for a stylish cake, baked in the image of a lion.
“Lion cake at the Ole Ntimama stadium,” Stephen Letoo captioned the photos of the cake, sparking mixed reactions among netizens.
“Wish to see the one behind this cake,” one wrote.
“So you are a carnivore,” another wondered.
Others however admitted that the cake was a beautiful masterpiece, giving the baker their flowers.
The wedding has however also left Kenyans confused as Stephen Letoo has been advocating for polygamy and many thought that he already had two wives.
“The first man kucheza his own fellow men…congratulations,” a netizen reacted.
Speaking at the event, his colleague Swaleh Mdoe said that he was going to add more women.
“Congratulations to you and Irene. We have been told that you are just getting started. You will add more wives,” Mdoe said leaving the guests in stitches.
The wedding came a day after Letoo visited his wife’s family home in Kilgoris for dowry payment.
