Willy Paul’s latest move has made Kenyans as well as his fans convinced that his dramatic arrest and date in court were all stage managed, aimed at chasing clout.
Just hours after appearing in court, the singer has announced that he will be dropping a new song this Friday. The song is titled KuuKuu featuring a Liberian singer known as Jzyno.
“Are you ready? Ready or not here comes Kuukuu this Friday xMy blood Jzyno. Mr butter my bread, no time for bad mind,” the controversial singer stated, sparking reactions among his Instagram followers.

Hours to his Monday arrest, Willy Paul took to Instagram to share what was transpiring and claimed that his life was in danger.
“I’ve been told that there are police officers outside my house syotani Villas waiting for me saying I knocked someone and ran away, they want to kill me!!! The same thing happened last year. If something happens to me you mjue ni watu wamevaa uniform and they’re outside my house right now!!” he wrote on Insta stories.

After spending the day in custody, the former gospel singer was eventually released in the evening. Bahati is among those who visited the police station he was being held in.
Following his arrest, Caroline Giseve, a lawyer allegedly representing Diana Marua’s, said that Willy Paul landed in trouble for ignoring summons over cyber bullying.
“Investigations were conducted, and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions authorized Willy Paul’s arrest,” stated Giseve. “Despite numerous summonses, Willy Paul failed to appear, leading to his arrest on Monday morning.”
In 2021, Diana and Willy Paul; were involved in a battle after Willy Paul claimed that he was romantically involved with Diana before she married Bahati.
Defending herself, Diana accused the Saldido boss of sexual harassment.
