Kenyans joined the rest of the world in marking Valentine’s Day on Wednesday February 14.
Valentines which is celebrated annually, is also known as the Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine. Originally, Valentine’s was a Christian feast day honouring a martyr named Valentine but throughout the years, the day has been associated with romance and love.
Some marked the day by buying gifts for their loved ones, taking them for dates and showing them love through other gestures. Others however who don’t value the day went about their usual activities but also those who are single marked the day in their own special ways.
Kenyan Celebrities couples were also not left behind and some stepped out with epic photo shoots and exquisite dinner dates. Below are glimpses of how the day went for some celebrity couples.
Nameless and Wahu
The power couple unleashed photos of their beautiful Valentine’s photoshoot, and later proceeded for a performance at a Valentine’s dinner

Size 8 and DJ Mo
The couple decided to abandon the culture of wearing red outfits for the occasion. In an Instagram post, Size 8 explained that they had decided to do things the opposite way.
“This Valentine day we do things opposite …For us -No Red No holding No smiling No flowers Mapenzi ni ya kila siku .Happy Valentine to you all,” the mother of two said.
King Kaka and Nana Owiti
The rapper and his wife stepped out in matching neon green and black outfits.
“It’s that time of the year? Well, HAPPY VALENTINES to YOU from the Ombima domain,” Nana said.
Amber Ray and Rapudo
Amber and Rapudo served couple goals in their epic photoshoot. In a heartwarming message that accompanied their love-up photos, Rapudo said that Amber had brought him peace and serenity from the moment she stepped in his life .

He also treated the social media influencer to a lavish date.
