On Monday, customers of Super Metro will enjoy free rides on their newly acquired matatu, which belongs to Comedian Njugush and his wife Wakavinye.

The matatu company shared the update on their social media platforms and went ahead to express gratitude for the support they have been receiving.

“Today’s free ride alert,” the company shared accompanied by a photo of the matatu.

“What God has for you, is for you. Trust his timings. A blessed week ahead of you all and thank you for your continued support. Stay safe,” Super Metro further stated.

The 33-seater minibus, named Tugi after the Njugush and Wakavinye’s son, was launched last week and it will be plying Nairobi-Kitengela route.

Njugush was asked on why he ventured into the matatu business and his answer was; “Imagine sina answer ya hio but ideally hakuna place hatuingii, next tunaingia farming. Tunajaribu tu kila kitu.”

On the other hand, Abel Mutua teased him for wasting money on the matatu.

Hata angekuwa hapa ningesema. Boy wangu ametupa pesa hapa acha tuseme tu ukweli. Mi ningekwa yeye ningeuzia mtu sahi,” he joked.
