Kenyan influencer Risper Faith recently shared her journey of undergoing cosmetic surgery to shed excess weight and reclaim her confidence. The mother of one took to social media to reveal her remarkable transformation after undergoing gastric sleeve surgery five months ago.

In a candid Instagram post, Risper shared before and after photos, showcasing her incredible progress since the surgery. She expressed her happiness with the journey, stating, “I am so happy this journey is forever.” Risper revealed that she underwent the surgery on August 18, 2023, after contemplating it for some time. She explained, “I did my research about it because I was rock bottom kwa unono.”

Reflecting on her decision, the content creator emphasized the importance of finding a permanent solution to her weight struggles. She opted for gastric sleeve surgery, viewing it as a long-term solution. “I was looking at a permanent solution… I’m gonna be like this for the rest of my life,” she said.

Before the surgery, Risper followed a strict low-carb diet for two weeks to prepare her body. She explained, “It was a low-carb diet for two weeks. I was fat and all my organs zilikuwa zimejaa mafuta around it.” The surgery proved to be successful, and since then, Risper has been steadily losing weight.

By December 2023, the mother of one proudly showcased her transformation, exclaiming, “Saa ii naka baby girl. I look like Nakaa sweet sixteen, nakaa poa.” She moved from a size 20 to a size 12, marking a significant milestone in her journey.

However, Risper’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. In a recent revelation, she disclosed the life-threatening nature of her weight gain. “If I did not go through with the Gastric sleeve, I would be dead by now,” she said. Despite facing criticism in the past for undergoing temporary procedures, Risper remained resolute in her decision to prioritize her health and well-being.

Looking ahead, Risper has plans for further enhancements, including an arm lift to address excess skin and a breast lift to restore her confidence fully. She revealed, “Next I will be going for an arm lift. Lastly, I will do breast lift so that they can stand like those of a 16-year-old.”
