In a candid revelation, Radio Jambo’s Breakfast Show, popular host Gidi has shared insights into the growing impact of Gen Z’s well organized protests against the controversial finance bill 2024.

In an interview, Gidi spoke on the anxiety among politicians in response to the organized and determined efforts of the younger generation.

“Gen Zs Wacha niwaibie siri, they are scared. Gen Zs mumekuja na mbaya, mumeshtua watu,” Gidi stated, praising the effectiveness of Gen Z’s demonstrations.

He assured the younger generation that their efforts have not gone unnoticed and are indeed making a significant impact. Striking fear among politicians.

Gidi further disclosed that politicians have been reaching out to him for advice on how to address the outraged youths who are rejecting the finance bill 2024.

“Right now they are talking of what can we do now?” He said. “Some of them are even calling me, they are telling me ‘Gidi, mbona hawa vijana wanatupeleka mbio hivi? Sasa tufanye namna gani? Tuongee na nani? Influencer gani unajua?'”

The Radio Jambo host expressed his amazement at the level of organization and commitment displayed by the demonstrators admitting that he has never seen anything like that.

“I have never seen a demonstration where people are so organized,” Gidi remarked, adding that the international community has also taken note.

“Even the world is so proud, me I watch international news. People are so proud of what these young people are doing.”

It is so sad when a Member of Parliament from a particular constituency see his people protesting against the bill and then he votes in favour of the same bill, yet his people who chose him to represent their views are against it.

It is a great step seeing the Gen Z continuing to mobilize and advocate for rejection of the finance bill 2024.

It is evident that their efforts are causing a ripple effect, prompting political leaders to accurately represent the people who chose them.
