Harambee Stars and Poland side Rakow Czestochowa Full back Eric ‘Marcelo’ Ouma has revealed that he is now fully fit after an injury that ended his season prematurely.
Marcelo has been unlucky this season because of Injuries, staying out of some major phases this season.
Just three months ago, in March he stayed out for Four weeks due to a tear in the biceps femoris muscle.
These unfortunate injuries made him stay out of March international break which Kenya played in a four nation tournament.
“Am currently okay and ready to play. I know need start gelling with my teammates, I am progressing well and currently in the reconditioning phase,” He said.
“I got a national team call-up because the technical bench needed to see how my injury had progressed. I have been doing tests to determine that, and know I can confidently say am ok and ready to play,” he added.
Ouma also wished the national team success in their back to back qualifiers matches against Burundi and Ivory Coast.
In January, the 27 year old moved to Polish side Rakow from Swedish side AIK, and despite the season not ending well for Rakow, Marcelo hopes he will regain his full fitness and help his team to regain their league glory.
