After 7 years of cracking viewers’ ribs with his sense of humor, the Wicked Edition’s show host on NTV Felix Omondi alias Dr. King’ori has taken a bow and bid goodbye to fans of his show.

Through his social media, Dr. King’ori wrote a farewell message to esteemed viewers, welcoming them to the last episode of the hilarious program. He highlighted that having over 70 million views , The Wicked Edition has been the long-lasting satire show on Kenya television.

“Dear esteemed viewers, welcome to the last edition of The Wicked Edition on TV Kenya airing tonight (7:30pm), Friday January 12. It has been 7 transformative years and over 300 unforgettable episodes on TV and over 70 million views on YouTube, making The Wicked Edition the longest-running satire show on Kenyan television,” he wrote.

He thanked viewers for their unwavering support, adding that it is has been the reason it continued to be a dope show, earning it recognition at the Kalasha award and nomination for best performance in TV comedy and the best Tv comedy in Kenya for the upcoming 2024 Edition.

He also thanked NTV for the platform for the opportunity that it gave them to nurture talents and his team for their talent and passion which made the show successful.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude towards NTV Kenya for being our nurturing home – a platform where creativity was met with opportunity. To every member of the creative team, crew and every guest on each episode your passion and talent have been the cornerstone of our success. Your dedication shone through each episode of The Wicked Edition that we have shared with the world,” Dr. King’ori said.

Though this was sad news to his huge number of fans, his farewell depicted excitement on his new beginning saying that it is set for greater endeavors.

“This journey, while ending with NTV Kenya, is set for a new beginning as we expand our reach, venture into greater creative endeavors and continue delivering value-laden content to our fans across East Africa and beyond.”

The presenter’s show will be missed for the laughter and humorous conversations he sparked with renown people in different crafts, with enriching content and entertainment.
