First Daughter Charlene Ruto has encouraged the Gen zs to use the opportunity of engaging with her father president William Ruto on X spaces wisely and engage constructively.
On a recent post on her X account, Charlene wrote that the Gen zs engagement on X spaces will determine the continuity of such levels of success.
She also stressed that President Ruto is first ever president in the world to hold an online meeting with all Gen Zs.
Ruto’s decision to join the forum came after the reservations from Gen Z’s about participating in the multi-sectoral discussions he recently proposed to address their concerns and those facing the nation.

The announcement was made by the Head of State through a post on the said platform, emphasizing that the session will take place on X Space and last from 2 to 5 p.m on Friday afternoon.
Ruto is expected to engage the Kenyan youth on the platform in line with his promise during a roundtable interview with digital media journalists held at State House, Nairobi, on Sunday.
In the interview, the President answered “yes” when asked if he would join X Spaces to engage with the discontented youth, the majority of whom are from Generation Z.
“In the next one week, we must have this conversation in the space where you want. I am sending you guys, one of you to set up the space this week, maybe Thursday or Friday, why not? I will be there,” Ruto said.
However, some of the youths on the X platform pledged to skip the meeting with the president, arguing that they have already voiced their concerns to him during the protests.
