The race for signing Samuel Kapen has taken an interesting turn as different clubs from Belgium and Norway have contacted the player.

Kapen who is the Nairobi city winger has not only attracted European clubs but also five clubs from the country are also in need of his services, with Kenya Police and Gor Mahia leading the race.

Bandari, AFC leopards and Tusker are also eyeing the potential of signing Kapen who will become a free agent at the end of this month.

Kapen disclosed that there were interests from Belgium and Norway, but a deal has not been yet struck.

“More clubs have reached out through my agent. There is interests from Belgium and Norway, but nothing has been agreed upon. I will keenly look at the offers when the season conclude,” he said.

Kapen has confirmed that he will keep his word of serving Nairobi city until his last fixture.

“I am ready to feature for the club to the last game, even if I will be out of contract. My relationship with the club has been great, and I would like to keep the end of my bargain,” he concluded.
