Nakuru senator Tabitha Karanja’s daughter Anerlisa Muigai has revealed that she no longer indulges in drinking alcohol as well as her husband.

Anerlisa made the bold declaration on Instagram revealing that their focus is currently on their lives as well as God and that it has been 7 months of no alcohol.

A drink that commonly appears in their home is Ribena and also herbal teas that she loves.

“There are somethings that can not lack in the house, Ribena. Not a fan of Ribena but my hubs loves them a bit too much. We quit alcoholic drinks to focus on both our lives  and God. For me I realised I love water and herbal teas. I will show you my favourite teas. Going for 7 months of no alcohol together with my love. We love it,” the Keroche breweries heiress said.

The couple’s turning point comes just months after dealing with the fake fertilizer scandal. Anerlisa’s man was allegedly involved in the scandal leading to his arrest and he spend several nights in custody.

Trusting her friends to fundraise for her to secure his release, Anerlisa was not aware that one of them would leak the information to the public.

“Everybody isn’t your friend. Just because they hang around you and laugh with you doesn’t mean they are your friend. People pretend well. At the end of the day real situations expose fake people, so pay attention,” she said.
