Controversial MP Peter Salasya was forced to lock out his political rival Malanga-Isango MCA Peter Walunya Indimuli from addressing a meeting at St. Gabriel Isongo Secondary school.
This is the MCA that he assaulted during a funeral in Kakamega county last week.
Salasya however wanted Indiumuli to apologize for allegedly inciting the community around the school to forcibly evict the principal, as captured in a video that circulated widely on social media, due to poor results in the 2023 KCSE exams.
“Those people didn’t come here by accident. I want the Area MCA who is here to come and apologize to the nation right now, also for being part and parcel of whatever happened. I want you to come here apologize to the nation because you did this things without my knowledge. I am the leader in this constituency so come and apologize,” Salasya said and shortly brought the meeting to an end.

Taking to social media, the Mumias East MP said that he was glad to have denied the MCA chance to speak but will make sure that those who shamefully chased away the principal take accountability for their actions.
“I know I will be meeting with CEO Nancy Macharia of Teachers Service Commission Kenya and Kuppet teachers Kenya to officially apologize on behalf of the school , but before I will make sure all who participated must apologize and brought to book . I finished with students and area MCA who incited them and brought goons in school to chase the principal .
“Am happy after I closed the meeting they went to class and the silly MCA was not allowed to address them in the school. I will not tolerate their nonsense anymore mwanafunzi will remain to be mwanafunzi .Too much freedom to a student is dangerous,” he wrote on Facebook.
