The Police killings in the country sadden Kenyan socialite and entrepreneur Vera Sidika who is currently in Doha Qatar for a business tour.

Broken-hearted Vera Sidaka shared a post on her Instagram account terming the Police shooting live bullets to protestors as carnage.

“Some crimes cannot be forgiven. Some scenes cannot be unseen. This is carnage. Targeting civilians, shooting at children! How deep does your blood thirst? Who is next? When did your sons and daughters become your targets?” Questioned the socialite.

Additionally, Sidika questioned further the move by the Police killing innocent civilians saying Ruto must resign as the President.

“Why kill innocent civilians, why shoot at children multiple times!!!!!!! Whyyyyyyy whyyyyy???? Wtf is wrong with this gov! Ruto must go!!!! Enough is enough. no parent should have to bury their child this is heartbreaking,” Vera Sidika.

She believes that there is something wrong with the Government as no regime can allow its citizens murdered when they are practicing their democratic rights.

These comments come after one media outlet reported that two people including a child were shot dead in Ongata Rongai, Nairobi.

“Two people including a child shot dead in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County during the anti-government protests; 19 others left with gunshot injuries across the country.” The report read.

Sidika continues to show how she is hurting to see the country bleeding as it was not supposed to go to the extent of people losing lives for action to be taken.

“My country bleeds for my country! It was never to get to this point. So many innocent lives lost, multiple people injured. Like is this really the ‘hustlers’ nation?” Sidika wants to know.

Conclusively, the entrepreneur painted the real picture of the government in contrast to what it seems to be by its promises to its people.

“Our government, sworn to protect and serve, stood in stark contrast to the reality we witnessed today. The promise of safety and care dissolved into scenes of tragedy and loss!!!”
