Wife of Canadian rapper and singer Tory Lanez, Raina Chassagne, has filed for a divorce after being married for less than a year.
According to TMZ, Raina Chassagne, the rapper Tory Lanez’s wife, filed for divorce from him on Monday, June 10th. It is purported that Chassagne gave the explanation of irreconcilable differences.

Tory Lanez and Raina Chassagne have a son together called Kai. They welcomed Kai in April 2017. Sadly, what should have been one of the happiest days of Tory’s life turned into one of the worst, as he was nabbed on gun and drug charges.
On June 25th, 2023, the couple secretly tied the knot. According to reports, Chassagne is fighting for both legal and physical custody of their 7-year-old son Kai.
Kai had previously been accompanied by Chassagne to the Canadian rapper’s prison visitation.
The news of Tory Lanez’s divorce came out as he is serving a 10-year sentence for shooting 2020 victim Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.
He was found guilty of the crime back in December 2022, and ever since, he has made every attempt to have his sentence reduced.
The incident resulted in a well reported legal struggle and close examination of Lanez’s behavior. Megan Thee Stallion was praised by the Los Angeles County District Attorney for her bravery in confronting the horrible events and seeking justice.
After rapper Tory Lanez was sentenced to ten years in prison for shooting singer Megan Thee Stallion in the feet, the mother of the rapper’s six-year-old son was spotted crying outside the courtroom.
After Lanez’s sentencing, friends comforted Raina Chassagne, the rapper’s baby mama, who was overtaken with grief. She was waiting outside court by her car.
