On Monday, singer Bahati left netizens speculating after sharing an old photo of Victor Wanyama and his wife Diana Marua on his Instagram account.

His caption, a series of broken heart emojis,. insinuated that all was not well.

He then proceeded to share a graduation photo of his firstborn daughter Mueni, her mother and himself.

“I wish I knew,” Bahati captioned the photo.

Later Diana announced that she had a lot to say and she would be addressing the nation. A section of netizens were convinced that their love had gone down the drain while others were sure that the couple was just chasing clout as either of them was set to release a song.

True to some of the speculation, the couple were just hyping their big announcement which is their Reality TV show that will be premiering on Netflix.

“We were the first Kenyan family to have a reality show on a National Tel;evision(Being Bahati on NTV) and now we make history as  the first Kenyan family to have a reality show on Netflix. All glory goes to our Lord Jesus Christ,” Bahati shared the good news, tagging his wife.

According to him, they are not only the first Kenyan couple to feature on Netflix  but also the first across the whole of East Africa.The show will be premiering on Friday June 7, 2024.

“I know y’all had missed us on TV. The king and Queen of Reality are back and it’s time for us to answer all your rumours as we share with the world our dirty, clean , sad and happy moments. This is the best reality Kenya has seen. Just trust me. See y’all on Netflix  this Friday the excited father of five said.

Many have congratulated the Bahatis for the big win including fellow celebrities like Obinna, Jacky Vike, Jackie Matubia, Betty Kyallo among others.Others were however bitter that the family decided to play games with them before sharing the good news with some vowing to ignore the show.
