Rwandan gospel artist and Nina Siri hitmaker Israel Mbonyi has announced that he will soon be performing in Kenya. The much-anticipated performance will go down on August 10, 2024.
Fans of worship are in for a treat as the artist will be performing at the Ulinzi Sports Complex along Lang’ata Road.
Israel has established himself as a leading figure in gospel music from his ability to connect with audience profoundly.
The much-expected concert in Nairobi is expected to be very important event for worship lovers as it marks an important step in his career.
While making the announcement, the singer expressed his sincere excitement about performing in Kenya.
“I am thrilled to announce that I am coming to Kenya this year, 2024. Kenya holds a special place in my heart and I am super grateful for your unwavering support. It has been my dream to come to Kenya and I am finally coming,” Israel shared on Instagram.

Already tickets for this big coming concert are available for purchase.
The tickets are set Sh20,000 for 1st class VVIP admission, Sh12,000 for VVIP, Sh8,000 for VIP and Sh3,000 for regular.
Tickets are served at first come first served basis. To avoid missing out on this important event, fans are advised to secure their tickets early.
Mbonyi earlier worked in his native language, Kinyarwanda, before he expanded his reach by releasing his first Swahili song, ‘Nina Siri’ in 2023.
The song that hit the waves quickly, gaining him a large audience in Swahili-speaking nations, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Israel has a stunning journey in music industry, with albums like: ‘Mbwira,’ ‘Hari Ubuzima (Live),’ ‘Number one,’ ‘Umusirikare,” and ‘Intashyo.’
However, the 32-year-old has other achievements apart from music. He is known for hosting an event that celebrates the year’s highs and lows – the annual ‘Icyambu Live Concert,’ bringing people of all ages together.
