Media Personality Liz Jackson condemns the older generation for being brainwashed by Kenya’s corrupt leaders and being the reason we are experiencing political instability in the country.

She expressed her disappointment in the older generation on her instagram stories as she encouraged Gen Zs and Millenials to show up and vote in 2027.

” That generation brought us all this problems. It’s up to us Gen Zs and millenials to switch things up. Come 2027 tukue tunaamshana kuchukua kura. As long as that generation is the majority of voters, we will go nowhere.( remember they are very tribal as well)” she wrote.

” They are brainwashed. Mnaenda maombi ya kazi gani kwa mtu alikua anawauza! Nkt.”

This came about after Catholic pastors visited President Ruto at the statehouse, which infuriated the public and young people, who felt deceived by the church in general.

The youth believed that the church leaders were betraying them and supporting corrupt politicians since they remained silent when youth were being slain by the police while allowing the politicians to attend their churches.

Comedian and actor DJShiti also took to his instagram to condemn church leaders who went to Molo MP Kimani Kuria’s house to cleanse it after it was burnt down by dissatisfied residents of the area.

According to him, young people should stop the church leaders from being used by corrupt politicians to deceive their parents.

” We should also stop the church and religious leaders to be used by politicians to deceive our parents..Before Almighty God we are all the same.” his statement began.

He added that if they could do a cleansing ceremony for mere property, the same should be done for the Kenyans who lost their lives protesting to liberate the nation.

” If you are doing a mass to cleanse some useless MPs…Same should apply to Hon. Kenyans who lost their lives protesting to liberate our nation.” he wrote.
