Samidoh is a police officer and at the same time a renown Mugithi singer.

The question that many have however been asking themselves is how he is able to balance between the two careers, as he never misses shows and gigs.

According to him, he serves in the police force from Monday to Thursday, delegating the weekend to his music career.

“Nafanya kazi kutoka Monday to Thursday. Tunapatana na nyinyi Friday mpaka Sunday. I am attached to the National Police Commission headquarters iko pale Westlands,” he said in an interview with SPM Buzz.

Samidoh said that the schedule is very possible because he has understanding bosses. He also noted on the days he is away from the police service he is not paid.

“I have a very understanding boss. Anajua niko na talent na anataka kusupport talent yangu. Wakati naomba ruhusa  ya kutoka nje ama kuenda gigs zangu sijawahi lipwa. I have a very understanding boss and I thank God. Namshukuru sana mahali alipo Mungu amubless sana,” he said.

On whether you he loves the life he lives, Samidoh said, “Kama singekuwa naipenda ningekuwa nimejinyonga. That is life iko na challenge hapa na pale you have to focus you live on.”

Samidoh also said that  has no idea why he trends online because he is busy living his life.

On how his bosses take it and if it affects his work he said, “Nitamconvince(boss) nini na I have no idea. Mimi huwa nakua naishi maisha yangu naskia kitu imeppickiwa. I have no control over that. Hata yeye(boss) ananiunderstand.”

The singer also said that he is a responsible father who takes cares of all his children equally. Samidoh has three children with his estranged wife Edday Nderitu and two with nominated senator Karen Nyamu.

“Wako sawa. Ubaya ni mtot akose chakula. My responsibilities is to raise my kids and am raising them all equally. I amy not be many things but I am a good father because  I am always there for my children when it comes to time, financial support, I am always there for them all of them,” he noted.
