Shortly after Paula Kajala and Marioo unveiled their pregnancy, Rayvanny released a song titled Hongera, dedicated to pregnant women.
Many believed that the song was dedicated to Paula, who previously was in a relationship with Rayvanny before moving on with Marioo. Rayvanny on the other hand, after the end of their relationship, reconciled with his baby mama Fahymma.
Speaking to Tanzanian vloggers, Rayvanny said that he came up with the song after witnessing how a pregnant woman was treated in a plane. He says that he thought about the challenges that expecting women go through and he thought of appreciating them.
“Kuhusiana na wimbo hongera, nilikaa siku nilikuwa kwenye ndege. Kuna mama mmoja mjamzito akawa anapewa treat kwasababu ni mjamzito nikakaa nikiwaza wamama wanapitia changamoto nyingi sana mpaka wanatuzaa sisi. Kuna wengine wanapenda ujana aende klabu azunguke lakini mwanamke akiamua wacha nizae maanake anakitunza hicho kiumbe, kukaa na mzigo miezi tisa si kitu kidogo, mateso ya leba na kujifungua sio kitu kidogo na mama zetu ndio wanazaa mashujaa, marais, masuperstar, talents tofautitofauti, mapilot kwa hio nikasema kwa nini nisifanye kitu ambacho ni cha kuwapongeza wamama,” the father of one said.
The musician added that aside from pregnant women, the song is also dedicated to those who have already delivered.
“This song is special for pregnant women and also those who have already given birth. I have dedicated this song to all women who are pregnant and those that have delivered. Marioo is my blood, family and he is expecting a child. Paula is expecting a child so I congratulate them. The song is special for expectant women. Now that Paula is pregnant, the song is also dedicated to her like the rest,” he said.
He further clarified about being in contact with Paula.
“Can you have conversations with someone’s wife? No hard feelings. I don’t have any quarrel with Paula because I have my own family with my woman. I love her. She has her man whom she loves at the end of the day life goes on, people build families,” he said.
Rayvanny also said that he has no problem with his wife over such songs because she is aware he is a musician.
