Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o and Canadian actor Joshua Jackson have set the internet on fire after their photos getting cosy in public surfaced online.

The two, who have been rumoured to be dating since late last year, seemingly confirmed that they are in love with each other following their public display of affection during a birthday vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as Lupita turned 41 years old.

Rumours that the two were dating began shortly after, Lupita’s publicized her break up with Salema Masekela in October 2023. Coincidentally, reports that Jackson and his wife of four years had divorced had emerged earlier that month.

“They looked madly in love. Like they just couldn’t get enough of one another,” a witness to their loved up vacation revealed.

Lupita recently opened up about her separation with Salema and why she chose to share the information with her fans.

“I was living in a lot of pain and heartbreak. I looked at the environment of my social media and thought I don’t want to be a part of this illusion that everything is always coming up roses. Surely there is a lesson for me to learn in this, and I just want to be real about it,” she said in an interview.

At the same time, she said that would give love a chance again if she finds it.

“Our purpose in life is to love,” she said. “And so you have to get back in it.”

Lupita further said that she would not publicise her relationship like she did with Salema.

“That was very, very sage of me. I’m going back to those days, by the way,” she said.
