Marioo and Paula Kajala initially wanted to keep their pregnancy a secret to avoid much publicity .
Their plans were however cut short after a Tanzania entertainment guru ,Mambe confirmed that she had been following up on Paula revealing that she had made multiple visits to the clinic.
“Mimba ya Paula toka siku imeingia sisi habari tunayo. Tumeshawakamata clinic mara kibao. Tulishamkata Kajala na Paula clinic. Tulishamkata Marioo na Paula clinic, eti wakakaa mbali mbali kama hawajuani wakati wambea wangu wanawa zoom tu…… Wakakataa weee kuwa hakuna mimba ila sasa hivi wanavaa maparachuti tuu… Nyie Kajala soon anakuwa Bibi wa taifa…” Mambe Kimambi wrote.
Later, in April this year, Paula and Marioo unveiled their all grown baby bumb in a beautiful photoshoot.
Expressing her excitement, Paula requested Mambe to assist in purchasing baby items from the United States, sending a list directly to her.
“Kuna list ya vitu vya mtoto nakutumia dm we kama bibi yake umnunulie kutoka marekani” she said.
Recently the couple did a baby shower in a colourful event, and also revealed that were expecting a daughter.
The Baby girl finally arrived, with Marioo taking to Instagram to share the good news.
In a post he wrote; “Asante Mungu kwa baraka hii ya mtoto ,Tunashukuru kwa mtoto wetu wa kwanza our beautiful daughter@princess -amarah Mungu akukuze akujaalie afya na baraka tele .Asante malkia wangu @therealpaulahkajala unastahili kila kilichopo ndani ya uwezo wangu .Mungu akubariki sana.”
The post was followed by a train of congratulatory messages from various celebrities in Tanzania e.g. Wema Sepetu ,Bill Nas ,Mau Sama among other celebrities and his funs too.
The couple’s love story came to the public’s attention in May 2023, and they have since become a prominent celebrity couple, earning themselves the endearing nickname Romeo and Juliet .
