National super league side Naivas FC team manager Charles Maina, is confident that his team will overcome the recent run of poor results and secure a place in the Football Kenya federation premier league.
Naivas started well the season and even leading NSL table for a while at first leg but since the start of second leg they had some poor results that led them to drop from the automatic promotion slots.
So far Naivas are on the third position in the league table with 64 points, just one Point ahead of the fourth position Nairobi United who have a game in hand.
“We are gearing up for the final games of the campaign. We still have a chance and we will try to win all our games and see Where we will rank at the end of the season,” he said.
“The second leg has not been good to us, the coaches are doing everything in training ground and before the match, you feel like everyone is prepared, but we don’t know what happens on the game day. We are conceding cheap goals from individuals or defensive errors, which I believe can be avoided,”
“Furthermore we luck a threat in front of the goal, we are doing well in the final third, of we can work in that then it will be easy for us to win the rest of the Games,” he concluded.
