Esteemed Kenyan comedian Mulamwah, who recently celebrated the arrival of his first child with Ruth K, Oyando Jnr surprised everyone with a grand gesture.
To welcome Ruth K and their newborn from the hospital, Mulamwah hired a luxurious Mercedes Benz G Wagon, valued at Kshs 30,000,000. The comedian didn’t stop there – he also arranged for Ruth K’s favourite artists, Vijana Barubaru, to make a special appearance during her hospital discharge.
“Mtoto anapanda Gwagon kabla sisi,” Ruth reacted.
“A G for a G,” Mulamwah said on the other hand. “Imagine unazaliwa then the first car unapanda kwa life yako is a G Wagon. Hio ni mUngu. Mimi mwenyewe hata sijawahipanda leo ndio siku ya kwanza after 31 years. Yeye siku mbili tatu ashapanda.”
Mulamwah and his wife announced the arrival of their new born on Saturday just days after fans speculated about Ruth’s absence on social media.
The newborn already boasts of nearly 4000 followers on Instagram, leaving some wondering about the early use of the account for advertisements.
While Mulamwah’s gestures have garnered attention and appreciation, some netizens speculate on his motives. Questions that have risen include; Is he trying to make his ex-girlfriend, Carol Sonnie, jealous, or is he genuinely focused on creating happiness within his new family?
In a recent revelation, Mulamwah disclosed spending Kshs 200,000 on horses for their baby shower, excluding the cost of their Vanessa Mdee and singer Rotimi-inspired outfits for the memorable photoshoot.
This month also saw Mulamwah taking legal action against his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Carol Sonnie, accusing her of defamation and child abuse. The legal move follows Carol’s YouTube statements alleging Mulamwah to be a deadbeat dad.
The rift escalated when Mulamwah participated in the “of course” challenge on TikTok, emphasizing his role as a responsible father in Kenya, prompting Carol to respond with her own “of course” challenge, declaring herself a toxic baby mama and narrating a story about the child’s father being hit by a train while working on the railway.
