Omanga

Renown politician Millicent Omanga is seeking for the man who requested her to be his Valentine.

In a Facebook post on February 13, Millicent finally reacted to the man’s request,  and asked for his whereabouts.

“Naskia kuna boyz anataka kunipeleka dinner date kesho, ako wapi?”( I hear there is a boy who wants to take me out for a dinner date tomorrow?).

Millicent’s response has however triggered a flurry of admirers on her page.

“Ndo mimi apa. allow me sell my motorbike this evening we do this tomorrow. i have always wanted to be close to you and there is no such perfect opportunity than this one here.you are an amazing lady, well endowed and with a perfect smile,” Ignatius Nyukuri said.

‘Ako hapa hostels za kisii university,” read another comment.

The 25-year old man identified as Ophine Ngano, from Kisii University boldly made the peculiar request, considering that Omanga is a married woman, and even left his number for her to reach out to him.

“To Hon. Millicent Omanga, will you be my Valentine’?” the placard the young man carried read.

He also claimed that he hasn’t gone to look for other politicians because there is something important she wants to discuss with Millicent.

“Mimi ni mzee. I am 25 years old. Miaka ya Omanga sijui. Ni yeye tu ningemfikia juu sioni mwingine. Hata sijajaribu wengine. Na pia niko na issues nataka anisaidie nazo. (I am old. I am 25 years old. I don’t know the age of Omanga. It’s only her I can reach out to because I don’t see anyone else. I haven’t even tried others. I also have some issues that I want her to help me with,” he emphasised his unique connection with her.

In the midst of it all,  the politician wished her Facebook followers a happy valentine’s Day, humorously suggesting that if they want to give her flowers, she can just send her Mpesa number.

“Hizi maua mnataka kunipea ni mingi sana buanaa si nitume number ya mpesa tu? Happy Valentines Day my good people, may your relationships and marriages blossom forever and be of positive impact to the souls of those around you,” she wrote.
