Public figure and Comedian MC Jessy has  finally announced his stand on the Finance Bill after being pressured online by both the public and celebrities who oppose the bill.

” Lakini Jessy what’s your stand in this Finance Bill? Nimescroll account sijaona kama unareject?” Khaligraph wrote on his Instagram

Jessy then responded with a long paragraph stating how he is ashamed to have been on the forefront in campaigning for the ruling government.

” My Brother..it’s true I campaigned for this government openly…I was on the forefront in celebration when William Ruto won….At that time I was hopeful in the administration. I knew my agenda of the creative economy would be achieved,” he wrote.

Additionally, he stated that the CS of Creatives has not done what was needed for the creatives and he is tired of pushing them.

” Our CS for Creatives hasn’t done what is needful for the creatives…Am also tired of pushing them. Am tired of just talks and promises.” he continued

He ended by saying that he does not support everything the government does and he is support of the change that is needed as people.

” Therefore even if in 2022 I supported the administration, it does not mean that I remain supporting their decisions when they are oppressing all of us.NO…. I cannot do that. I am in support of change we need as a people.
