After a 10-year hiatus in the music scenes, Nyashinski returned with a banger in 2016 titled ‘Now You Know.’

In the first verse of the song, Nyashinski mentions that people were wondering where he went to, alleging that he had disappeared like the Kshs310 offerings(Mbegu ya 310) that Victor Kanyari received from his congregants.

“Naskia wakiuliza ule boy wetu alienda wapi
Amepotea ka zile mbegu watu walipanda na Kanyari ye yee yeaah
Na naskia inasemekena
Ati rap zangu hukam na mkazo, na ile utamu ya reggea mama,” the artist sang.

Kanyari, has however weighed on the song saying that there were no ‘seeds’ that got lost.

The preacher, who poses as an anointed Prophet of God, revealed that Nyashinski and his the defunct group Kleptomaniacs were young when Kanyari used to preach before the 310 scandal.

He also revealed his favourite song from the group, adding that he also wanted to become a musician.

“Kuna muimbaji anaitwa Nyashinski alisema ya kwamba ati watu wanasema nilipotea kama zile mbegu zilipotea na Kanyari. Hakuna mbegu zilipotea na Kanyari. Mimi nikikuwa ninahubiri Nyashinski alikuwa akiimba na group ingine. Walikuwa vijana wadogo. I was still there. Nilikuwa nahubiri wakati Nyashinski alikuwa anahubiri hapo airport, walikuwa wanaimba na kina Collo. Kuna wimbo yao  walikuwa inaimba ‘Tuendelee ama tusiendelee’. Hio wimbo hata mimi nilikuwa naipenda. Those days I wanted to be a musician, unfortunately sikuwa muimbaji nikakuwa Prophet, Daktari Victor Kanyari,” he said in a video shared online.

Urging people to bring their sick, Kanyari said that his job is now to pray for people adding that Nyashinski could also seek him for prayers

“Those with Aids, Athritis, Asthma, Pressure, demons brings them I pray for them. Even you come I lay my hands on you you see how you will be blessed. Ile anointing niko nayo sahi inang’oa mpaka nyasi. Wacha kuongea mambo ya 310, hio ni mambo ilipita na wakati,” he said.
