FKF President Nick Mwendwa has termed the just concluded season 2023/2024 season as the best season in recent years.

Mwendwa gave his assessment on Sunday at Kenyatta stadium after overseeing the presentation of the FKFPL trophy to the winners Gor Mahia.

With the many stakeholders that have been brought on board and the increased number of teams with Fans and in particular newbies Shabana and Muranga seals, Mwendwa was pleased with how the season has been folded.

” This season has been good. For the many years that we have been here, there has not been a season like this.

It’s the first time in a long while doing a season like this with a good TV, title sponsor and others. I want to thank Azam TV and all who have been on board and made all these possible, ” Nick said.

While acknowledging the efforts made by individual teams, Nick called on local fans to keep supporting their teams and turn out in large numbers physically to rally behind their teams.
