Protestors fighting against the finance bill from Thika and its environs have decided to walk to Nairobi Central Business District on foot after police barricaded the roads leading to the capital city.
Despite the hurdles they have incurred as they head to the CBD to protest, they have remained relentless and have decided to protest against the finance bill on foot.
Some X users who are on the roads are also telling fellow Kenyans that there are no means of transport as all matatus heading to Nairobi CBD are full.

Other X users have also announced the police antics in blocking the roads,” Police have place barricades in Thika Road and all major roads leading to CBD, protestors have alighted from the buses and are walking to town. THE REVOLUTION IS HERE!!!”
”Police are helplessly trying to block Ngong road, Jogoo Road and Thika road to prevent kenyans from accessing Nairobi CBD. The protesters have decided to walk on foot. Its only 10am. Will the centre hold?” another user commented.

Meanwhile, in CBD, there were reports that the police tear gassed a public service vehicle that was entering the CBD with civilians still inside the vehicle.
Other protestors have been arrested with one protestor being reported injured from a gunshot wound from the police as they are reportedly using live bullets at the protestors.
