Harambee stars Head coach Engin Firat believes that his team has a chance to qualify for the 2025 Africa cup of Nations that will be held in Morocco.

Firat while reacting on the draw that was conducted Yesterday in South Africa expressed his confidence in guiding Harambee stars to return to the continental showpiece after missing the past two editions.

Kenya is place in group J alongside 5 times champions Cameroon, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Kenya was supposed to face both Cameroon and Namibia in the 2023 qualifiers but that didn’t happen because Kenya was on FIFA suspension.

”It is a tough group made up of good teams. It’s balanced and every team is strong, all teams stand an equal chance of qualifying and therefore it will be a tough race. As I said from the beginning, it doesn’t matter whom we are put against, our aim remains going to AFCON,” Firat said.

Kenya is likely to launch their qualification campaign against Zimbabwe which is likely to be hosted away from Home.
