The clip of American Rapper Diddy Combs assaulting his former girlfriend Cassy  Ventura has continued to spark anger across social media platforms

The clip was released by CNN. Among those who have shown their frustration following the viral clip are Kenyan celebrities.

Kate actress, Frankie just gym it and Tanasha Donna were among the first Kenyan celebrities to react to the disturbing clip .

The footage is dated March 5, 2016, based on CNN claims, suggests that the incident happened at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, which has since shut down.

The video which shows Diddy wearing a white towels around his waist running after Cassie who was headed to the elevator he quickly throws her on the floor before kicking her severally he then proceeds to pick up her purse before dragging her to their room.

CNN did not say how it obtained the video but claimed it verified the location where it was shot by comparing the footage to publicly available images of the InterContinental Hotel.

As truth came out that Diddy combs paid the hotel $ 50,000 to get rid of the video.

Popular News Anchor Betty Kyalo has recently joined those condemning Diddy for his actions.

She took her frustrations to her Insta stories showing how disturbed she was by the whole situation.

” A man with 4 daughters !!!!!how do you beat up a woman that’s honestly evil,”she said. “If you don’t like / love her or him anymore just leave them don’t hurt them. Diddy is trash ! And so are all men who abuse women whether physically or emotionally they are trash !” 

“This is horric yaani I’m so disturbed unfollow him ! We are not listening to his music anymore F * Diddy men who beat women are TRASH ! so angry ! ,” she concluded.

Top NBA player Lebron James has also unfollowed Diddy Combs after the clip.

People on social media have send love and comforting message to Cassie, who is yet to share any comment after CNN acquired the video.
