Controversial former radio presenter Andrew Kibe has defended Willy Paul claiming that he believes that Diana Maria is lying and went ahead to show his support to Willy Paul by reiterating that he is in his side.
The “sitolia” hitmaker was arrested on Monday after he had gone out to post on his Instagram that there were police officers outside his house who were claiming that he had hit someone by his car and ran away.
Later on it was revealed that Diana Maria the wife to musician Bahati was the one behind the dramatic arrest of Willy Paul.
Diana marua’s lawyer explained that willy Paul was arrested for Cyber bullying charges and he had been failing to appear before court repeatedly despite numerous summons.
The police were then forced to go and pick him in his house in Syokimau forcefully and bring him to court.
Willy Paul was however later released that day on a cash bail of ksh 100,000. He thanked his supporters via his Instagram for the support they had shown him and all those who showed up for him at the police station. He then affirmed that he was home that night and was safe. He was arraigned on Tuesday.
Earlier this year Andrew Kibe realised that Willy Paul’s songs had not been doing well ever since Diana accused him and that since that scandal Willy Paul’s songs were not hitting anymore.
Andrew blamed Diana for flopping Willy Paul’s career when he accused him of attempted rape in 2021.
“Diana lied about Pose and successfully got away with it.” Andrew said.
In a recent interview, Kibe was asked about Willy Paul’s recent arrest, that came as a surprise to many.
“Do you think it’s right vile Diana ame arrest Willy Paul?” The interviewer asked Andrew.
Kibe in his response answered,” you mean she is still playing those games? Huyu dem ni chizi ama? Hii ndio ubaya ya kuwa na dem ni Mzee kukuliko. Huwezi mcontrol”
Andrew Kibe continued to say that in the interview that Bahati can’t even tell his wife to stop whatever she doing. Accusing someone falsely and repeating that’s it’s nonsensical.
“Why would you do that to somebody and you know it’s a lie. She is lying. Willy Pose I’m on your side”. Kibe ended.
He was also quick to say that he won’t get him out of jail but he surely supports him.
