Brian Mwenda

Alleged fake lawyer Brian Mwenda is at the forefront of opposing the ban on the sale and consumption of Muguka in Mombasa County.

On his post on Instagram, Brian said that there are no bold leaders who can fight for the well good of Miraa farmers.

Mwenda also talked of the lost Somali market for what he refers to as “gold’ – miraa- saying that no one is talking about it.

“Miraa famers do not have a voice because we elected cowards. The Somali market gone, now the local market for our gold has hit another block.”

Mwenda dared the government to ban the consumption and sale of Miraa everywhere if they’ll like to. He thinks no one cares for the farmers of this economic product.

“No one speaks for our people but oh well ban it everywhere if you must. At the end of the day, no one cares for Miraa farmers and Meru as a block lacks Leadership,” he posted.

However, Brian also assured the people of Meru that they will not allow the ban of Muguka in Mombasa County to succeed. He added that they will seek humanly possible assistance to block the implementation.

“The people of Meru will not and shall not accept the ban of Mogoka/Miraa Ban in Mombasa County. We will do everything humanly possible to ensure that frivolous executive order cannot be enforced,” asserted Mwenda.

“So, what happened yesterday is that the current governor of Mombasa issued an executive order that kutoka jana kuuza Muguka ni illegal in Mombasa. It does not make sense at all. It is a rushed decision. He has been misguided.” Mwenda spoke

“They are trying to beat the economy of Mount Kenya. If you ban Muguka what happens when you are transporting Muguka by road Muguka from Meru to Kilifi. Now do you suddenly vanish and reappear in Kilifi because Muguka is banned in Mombasa,” Brian explained.

Mwenda advised that the government should look at solving the existing problems of other hard drugs like cocaine and heroin in Mombasa.
