Renown RnB Musician Otile Brown, has through his Instagram stories lamented on how bad energy in the current generation has ruined friendships and interactions that were only meant for the good.

He sends a message to young people and his peers, advising that having genuine relationships is the best thing that one can have in this present time.

“To young people and my peers in this generation in this time and era , the best thing you can ever have is genuine connection, genuine friendship ,genuine vibes, you know fine love’’ he said.

According to the award winning artist, having genuine friendships is one of the requisite remedies of one who wants to save themselves.

He was saddened that young people especially in social media, seem to always be so bitter, ready to show hate.

“It breaks my heart seeing very young people so bitter and show hate to…you know… women on you know …on a certain level’’

The singer and songwriter says that he does not always respond to attacks social media but the assertions and thoughts of young people made on the platforms to different issues baffle him.

“Sometimes I don’t respond to attack but I am surprised that a young man could think like that’’

Otile attributes the cause of this ‘bad energy’ to brokenness, sadness and depression.

“I understand because… our generation is broken and everybody’s depressed and sad,’’ he stated.

The ‘Shujaa wako’ hitmaker further notes that in this generation everyone is trying to be sharp and trick other people making it stiff to secure any genuine friendships and connections.

He admitted that while it is still difficult to come across folks with genuine interactions, such healthy relationships are what people need.

This post comes few hours after the Kenyan artist shared alluring pictures of him and his new female manager, attracting mixed reactions on social media.

A netizen in the comment section criticized him for choosing a female manager, saying that male artists choosing female managers is the reason for their down fall.
