Social media personality Dem Wa Facebook has sharply responded to controversial remarks made by gospel artist Ringtone Apoko.

Ringtone had earlier stated that she was unfit for marriage and was clueless about many things including the Bible.

“Dem wa Facebook ni msichana hawezi oleka, hawezi wekwa kwa nyumba,” the gospel singer said.

To respond to this, Dem Wa Facebook did not hold back. First, she referred Ringtone as “Kilema,” before  she commented on Ringtone’s living situation, alleging that he stays in a mansion inherited from an older woman, ‘Mumama’ as she puts it.

“Unajua Ringtone Apoko anaishi kwa hekalu aliwachiwa na mumama,” she said, contrasting this with other prominent figures who own big palatial homes.

Dem Wa Facebook drew comparisons between Ringtone and other celebrities such as Kennedy Rapudo, Khaligraph, Samidoh, and Obinna.

“Watu wa mansion ni kina Rapudo, kina Khaligraph, kina Sammydoh, kina Obinna,” she stated.

She also said that Ringtone’s appearance makes it hard to believe he legitimately owns a mansion, saying, “Ukiangalia sura ya Apoko na mansion unafikiria hata yeye ni mwizi. Apoko sura yake inavibe na sisi, Kibera. Hiyo mansion ya Apoko ukiongeza MC Cogo na speaker inakuwa Quiver Launch ya Thika road.”

Dem Wa Facebook also questioned Ringtone’s age suggesting that he might be much older than he appears.

“Unaweza kaa hivi kumbe Apoko ni ancestor. Nilizaliwa kama anaimba ‘Pamela Njoo Kwa Mungu,’ sahii ndio hii ako macho,” she said.

In a dramatic twist, she recounted an encounter with Ringtone, alleging that she had to flee from a sleepover to protect her future.

“Alikuja kwangu sleepover nkatoroka juu nilijua angelala na mimi nyota yangu ingezima,” she revealed.

She then continued narrating, “Alinishika shika, Apoko alinishika shika, kuenda kufikia vyombo vya habari nkamwambia koma, My body is the temple of God,” she concluded. Telling how the boundary she set saved her.

The exchange between Dem Wa Facebook and Ringtone lead to reactions on social media, showcasing the nature of public discourse among  celebrities.
