Popular female DJ Pierra Makena has revealed that when she first discovered she was  pregnant and split with her baby daddy, her biggest worry was HIV.

This saw her take the test and after confirming her status, she went to confirm if the growing being in her had a heartbeat

“When I got knocked up and got pregnant and sh*t happened,  the first thing I did was an HIV test and I was like ‘God please give me another chance.’ I found myself not positive I went checked the heartbeat and I found I have a heartbeat,” she told MC Jessy.

From there she went to Nairobi Chapel to pray so that God can take care of her and her daughter.

“I cried to God asking him to be the father of my child,” she said.” By the time I was walking out of that door the answer was yes. My child is protected.”

She added that she has never denied her baby daddy chance to create a relationship with Ricca.

“I have never denied the father room to be there for his child. He’s just never been there. I have no beef with him. This happened when he was not in a space to be a father. I am not going to blame him, as much as he got some where and was able to be a father to somebody else and give it all, it is okay, probably he was not ready to be a father to Ricca or to be a husband to me. He is a nice person. We are friends,” Pierra said.
