Businessman and influencer Joseph Kairo popularly known as Khalif Kairo has condemned President Ruto’s Cabinet appointees.
Kairo on his X account displayed discontent with the nominees that the president has appointed to fill the vacant Cabinet Secretary position.
“We tell people not to go to the streets, Get insulted here for days on end for the love of the country then you reappoint the same people who brought the country into the same crisis. Bana shida ya huyu msee huwa nini?” Kairo lamented.
Kairo has been on the receiving end on negative publicity for the past couple of weeks since he started cautioning the youth to not go to the streets to demonstrate.
He kept insisting that we give the government time to play it’s role emphasizing that going to the streets and trying to get the president from his seat will only destabilize the country’s economy.
He however displeased with the president’s appointees said that he is done fighting for what he believed was the greater good of the country.
“Whatever happens from this point on, Mungu nisamehe na uni absolve. I used my voice and influence responsibly for the greater benefit of country at the risk of my repute over public opinion.”
@WilliamsRuto you have made a mistake and the repercussions will be dire. Nimeosha Mkono.” He said.

Kairo however said he is not ashamed of trying to fight for his country as his conscience is clear adding that he has proven to himself that third party opinion does not shape him or his character.
“I am proud of what i did. I stood on my principles and my conscience is clear. That for me is a big win. I have proven to myself that third party opinions don’t shape me. Despite all this though, clearly I was wrong and you people were right.” Kairo added.
