Renowned political scientist Mutahi Ngunyi has issued President William Ruto with a severe warning, pleading with him to act swiftly against what he describes as a leaderless movement that poses a serious threat to Kenya’s stability.

“These Goonz have never tasted war. And they want it badly”Ngunyi declared

Ngunyi’s comments reflect his mounting worry over the escalating demands coming from different activists and political groups.

Ngunyi claims that President Ruto has been overly accommodating in responding to these demands, which he feels will only worsen the unrest and dissatisfaction.

“Dear Ruto:You have given enough. The more you give, the more they demand. Enough is Enough. Now protect  country against this leaderless movement and its owners. Otherwise, we will have no country. These GoonZ have never tasted war. And they want it badly. We need your guidance.”Ngunyi wrote

In response to the continuing protests and demonstrations, Ngunyi criticizes them, claiming that they are orchestrated by people who are more interested in conflict and ambition than in genuine change.

He issues a warning, calling these leaders “Goonz,” saying they are eager to cause turmoil and disorder but are unaware of the real costs of war.

The commentators appeal to president Ruto is to exercise firmer leadership and take a more deliberate approach to handling dissent.Ngunyi highlights that giving in to demands without addressing the underlying problems will just fuel further demands and worsen national differences.
