Former Nairobi Diaries cast Risper Faith has opened up on an incident that saw her work on her excessive weight.
In a recent interview on Obinna TV, Risper Faith revealed that the knee discomfort she felt while appeasing her partner was the reason behind her abrupt weight loss.
According to her, she excessively gained weight after having her baby.
“Obinna nilizaa nikanona nilikuwa 120 kilos. Siku moja tu hivi asubuhi nimeamka Saturday, bwana akaniambia nimpandie juu, kumpandia juu magoti ikaanza kulia kakakaka, yaani ni uchungu, mguu ilikataa. Niliskia uchungu ingine hapa kwa magoti nikajua hii ni rock bottom ya unono,: she said.

The bubbly social media influencer opted for gastric sleeve surgery, a procedure that “restricts your food intake, leading to weight loss ranging from 40 to 60 kg.
Using tiny incisions in the upper belly, laparoscopic surgery is used to perform the procedure.
Following a liposuction treatment, Risper Faith recently shared a frank insight into her weight loss journey on Instagram, which was filled with both setbacks and victories.
Faith acknowledged the challenges she encountered as one of the first people in Kenyan public life to openly address plastic surgery, including body shaming and ridicule.
On her Instagram page, Faith talked about the difficulties she encountered, such as body shaming and mockery.
Even though she said she wanted to inspire people, she acknowledged that “while I inspired so many, spiteful comments on my weight always popped up.”
Emotional eating developed into a destructive habit that negatively impacted her health as a coping technique during trying times.
Faith realized she needed to change after reaching her heaviest weight of 125 kg.
Relentlessly overcoming criticism, Faith proclaimed, “It’s not about what you want, it’s about what you believe, and I believed I can and always will be a better version of myself.” Adversity became inspiration.
Faith previously disclosed in an interview that her 2020 liposuction did not produce the expected results since she disregarded the post-operative guidelines.
