In an interview with Betty Kyallo on This friday with betty last night, Eric Omondi revealed that they raised over 72 million in 7months with the sisi kwa sisi initiative which he started on social media to help those in dire need.
The Sisi kwa sisi initiative works in a way that they pick one person who is in dire need of help and then they send 1 bob,2 bob and so far they have helped 68 people. Eric said that they are not stopping the initiative and that it will be structured in a way that it will help millions and millions of Kenyans.

Eric insisted on not stopping and said the initiative will be structured in a way that it will help millions of Kenyans. He also mentioned that he will continue to help every person possible and that he doesn’t foresee anytime that he will get tired.

Eric denied doing the initiative as a way to get into politics. He mentions that his intention is to get as many young Kenyans into the parliament.
“There is a political inclination to this initiative and Kenya is a political nation and that all the problems we have has been created by the government, and so its political. “he said
After 16 years of entertaining people, comedian Eric Omondi announced that he was giving up comedy to advocate for the rights of regular people.
On January 16, Omondi officially started the fundraising to build the footbridge through his brainchild Sisi kwa Sisi initiative and construction works commenced almost immediately. “The Community has so far tried to reinforce the bridge but it’s not good enough.
