Baba Talisha and Brian Chira’s grandmother are now engaged in heated fight on TikTok over the money that was contributed for the funeral of the late TikToker.
Chira’s grandmother accused Baba Talisha of bothering her with calls and misappropriating funds that were raised for the funeral together with his rumored wife Brenda Wanjiku.
During a live TikTok video with Obidan Dela, Chira’s grandma claimed that she only came to know about the fundraiser on TikTok when it hit Kshs3 million. She says that Baba Talisha and his counterpart were in control of everything without including any of their family members.
According to her, trouble between her and Baba Talisha also came by when Obidan Dela visited her in a bid to establish accountability on the funds that were raised.
“Kama sahi wamepiga simu kama 10. Mimi sichukui. Asubuhi alinitusi kusema ati pesa ni ya public na anajua pesa ilichangwa ya nini. Aliniambia anaweza freeze zote ati anaezatoa. Mumwambie nikipata hakuna pesa kwa bank account, uwaambie watatoa juu ni hao wanajua pin zangu zote za M-Pesa na bank,” the elderly woman claimed.

She also accused Baba Talisha of with holding a laptop belonging to Chira’s cousin and demanding that he goes for it in person.
Baba Talisha has however threatened to sue her for defamation.
“I would not talk anything about it. Si wameamua kudanganya, wacha sasa tupelekane court. You can’t lie with my name. Hadi sahi anajifanya ati hajui mchango ilikuwa inafanyika surely. Mara ya kwanza vile tulikuwa tukichangisha tukienda huko kwake si alikuwa analia ati hata akipata mahali tu kashamba kadogo akiwekewa kastructure tu atashukuru Mungu.
“Sikuwa nalala hata usiku sahi inapatikana ati hawakuwa wanajua hata pesa zinafanya nini. Vile imekuwa hivyo wacha tu iaminike hivyo. Obidan is there, akina Truth Watchdog, they have the access, they can go with that Shosho kwa bank watoe statement zote waende Mpesa statements watoe zote waangalie wakuje nazo. Yaani hadi shosho anasema pesa nilipewa 40,000 nilikula,” he said
Following the the turn of events, Baba Talisha vowed to never engage himself with contributions especially on social media.
“If you really knew who this Shosho is today…I guess I owe an apology to Chira’s grandfather. I owe him a very big apology. You really don’t know that mother. Watu wa Githunguri wenye wanajua huyo shosho, and what really happened between… let me just not talk. Whatever that Shosho has done for me today, I don’t think I will ever do anything to do with charity on social media,” Baba Talisha said
This however comes at a time when the state of Chira’s grave has raised concerns. The grave is said to have sunk, with some believing that the deceased’s is unhappy with whatever is going on.
