On March 19, 2024,  Nigerian preacher Prophet Metu broke the internet with claims that the end of the world, also known as rapture, would occur on April 25, 2024.

In the visual message, the preacher claimed that the Lord ministered to him about the end of the world and he saw the date clearly.

According to him, it was he received the vision twice, calling upon people to start preparing themselves for the end time as signs that were stated in the Bible before it had already passed.

“By the 25th of April, the world is going to end. If you like  take this serious, if you don’t like  don’t take it serious but this is real, rapture is coming on 25th of April 2024. I saw the date very clear and the Lord ministered to me. He mentioned it twice, it has happened twice, do you understand. I saw  myself in a trans and I saw two mountains, everything was clear.

“I am even afraid now. If you have not prepared yourself for the rapture please start preparing yourself now. It is real. If you read your Bible very well you will know that every sign that is stated before the rapture has come to pass,” he said.

After the date lapsed without his prophecy coming true, the preacher took to X again claiming that the Lord pardoned the world because he had prayed and fasted for 21 days.

“The lord has shown us mercy. After our 21-day fasting and prayer, he heard us and gave us more time to live. Prayer works #rapture2024  #rapture,” he tweeted.
