Mugithi singer Carol Katrue has been hospitalised.

A video has emerged online of the mother of one admitted with a drip placed on her hand. She was also asleep when the video was recorded.

Katrue is yet to share any details about her illness.

This however comes at a time when her husband, Miracle Baby is still admitted in hospital. On February 6,  Katrue revealed that he was scheduled for his third surgery since his hospitalization.

“Going for the third surgery, we need prayers,” she said.

Miracle Baby has been in hospital since January 16 and Katrue has been taking care of him day and night.

The former Mugithi singer was rushed to hospital after his stomach complications relapsed. It was discovered that his intestines had ruptured.

“On Wednesday, it was noticed that his stomach was swollen, he was neither eating nor relieving himself. He was rushed to an urgent surgery. It was discovered that his intestines had burst and poured faeces all over the stomach. His other intestines were burnt as well. He was cleaned but his wound was removing pus. His infection was very high. He has been on oxygen, his pulse rate has been very high,” Katrue said then.

The family also appealed for well wishers to help them settle the hospital bill that had hit over Kshs1 million. Their fans and friends have however shown them massive support during this difficult time.
