Azimio diehard fan Nuru Okanga has claimed that he has been enrolled in form one this week.
Speaking to Swift Media, Okanga revealed that he had joined a day school because of he has to continue taking care of his family as well as frequent Bunge la Mwananchi for political reasons.
He went to ask fans for support as he begins his secondary education journey.
“I want to study to ensure that in 2027 I am in the ballot. I want to ask my friends to pray for me because it is not easy to juggle between education, family and other things. I am hoping for good relationship with the principal, teachers and students of the school I have joined. My fellow students, let’s work hard to ensure that the best performer comes from this school,” he said.
The 32-year old however declined to reveal the school he had joined.
“I don’t want people to find out which school I have joined because I am not in good terms with Ruto and the Education CS. Just know that I am in school, I am going to focus with education. Principal amesema nifiche white kidogo. My supporters should just know that I have joined, I am a student,” he said.
Okanga scored 320 marks in last year’s KCPE Exams.
While releasing the KCPE 2023 results, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu said that candidates who were over age wouldn’t join high schools but instead, they would proceed with their education in adult learning institutions.
Previously, Okanga said that he decided to go back to school in readiness for his future political ambition.
